Recently E.L.F Cosmetics UK announced they would be closing down (trying not to cry!) which resulted in them having sales up to 70% off. So in celebration of the company I bring you possibly my last ever ELF haul.
Keeping in mind that I ordered off their site a few weeks earlier (post here) and the fact that everyone had the same idea and placed orders, there wasn’t really much left or in shades I wanted.
Brightening Eye Colour Quad
These quads are just amazing, I’m not normally keen on shimmer eyeshadows but there’s something about these that I love. I may consider ordering again just to get the last few shades of these I don’t have, they’re sheer but buildable and make my eyes look bright and awake. I got the shades, Teal Dream and Brownstone.
Having previously purchased in another shade and finding it so easy to use, I thought of getting another. I’ve always admired the white eyeliner look and thought I’d give it ago as spring is coming, however, they didn’t have white but the shade Ivory instead, close enough for me!
I like to use this as an under eye setting powder as the formula doesn’t crease or gives me the cakey look, having purchased the Warm shade in the previous order (has a yellow tone) I decided to go with a lighter colour and purchased Light.
Luscious Liquid Lipstick
Having heard these are meant to be a dupe for Dior Fluid Lipstick I thought I’d give it ago, few of these were down to 98p! With my lips being on the dry side I thought these would suit me nicely, so I got the shades Bark and Brownie Points.
Again with my lips being dry, this is the perfect type of lipstick. Now, where the lipstick is moisturising I’m guessing the colour won’t be as pigmented, but I’d rather have smooth lips than extra colour and causing my lips to be more chapped. I purchased the shades Velvet Rope and Coral Cutie.
Mineral Moisturising Lip Tint
Enriched with vitamins and hydrating ingredients it wasn’t a hard choice to purchase, it’s meant to “provide immediate relief to chapped lips and diminishes the appearance of fine lines.” Having purchased one before I can agree, so I got another in the shade Guava.
Small Smudge Brush
I really wanted to purchase a load of brushes as the quality of them are amazing for their prices, but hardly any were left. So I only ended up getting the smudge brush. I thought it would work well to blend colour on the lower lash line.
And that’s it!
It’s sad to see a great company shutting down, there were so many items I wanted to try and items I frequently repurchase. I’m hoping in the future there will be a return (fingers crossed!) but at the moment it doesn’t look like it.
