Top 5 Under £5 | Bronzers

T5U5 - Bronzers

Everyone loves a bargain but sometimes if we get items at a great price we don’t get the great quality. But every now and then we find a diamond in the rocks.

Seventeen bronzer

Seventeen Instant Glow Bronzing Rocks, £4.99

Winner of Shout Beauty Awards 2013, with it’s pink and bronzed mixed rocks to give a natural glow. However, the product is too shimmery for contouring but works as a highlighter and looks amazing other over contour products. Plus, it’s been known to be a dupe of the St Tropez rocks.

NYC Bronzer

NYC Big Bold Bronzer, £3.99

Comes in two shades, ManhaTan as the light and MetropoliTan as the dark. They blend well and are a bit sheer but having 17.1g of product you can build to your heart’s content. They have got slight shimmer to them but hardly noticeable and most people use it to warm the face up instead of contouring.

MUA Bronzer

MUA Bronzer, £1

Be careful when purchasing a certain shade as shade 1 is a light golden shimmer, shade 2 is medium matte and shade 3 is a dark matte. Plus it can be slightly orange on certain skin tones so it’s best to buy in store and swatched. However, if you find the right colour it can work wonders for you. Blends well, pigmented and lasts for hours.

Natural Collection Bronzer

Natural Collection Suntint, £1.99

Very simple packaging with a screw lid that works great for travelling. Available in two shades, Sun shine as the lighter and Golden glow as the darker. The product has got a slight shimmer but looks natural and doesn’t give you the orange look. Blends really well and can be used for subtle contouring, plus it lasts for hours.

Elf Bronzer

Elf Studio Bronzer, £3.95

The most versatile out of them all, with four different colours and a mixture of matte and shimmer colours. Shades are Warm, Cool and Golden (which is a dupe for Dior Amber Diamond). Certain individual colours can be used as highlights and other contour, or you can swatch them all for a natural glow.

And that’s it! These products are not the best bronzers in the world, but great for beginners and people on a budget. There are more products just as good as these but we would be here all day.
